Calcined Products - SemidolimeTM and Fertilisers
SemidolimeTM is ideal for the neutralising of acidic soils it acts as a nutrient enriched enhancer to provide improved crop yields.
The physical characteristics of SemidolimeTM promote a change in the physical and chemical aspects of the soil, neutralise the soil acidity, and provide essential nutrients of both calcium and magnesium which, in turn, improve crop yields.
When used in conjunction with phosphate based fertilisers, the efficacy of fertiliser pellets for phosphate (with nitrogen and potassium, if required) can be enhanced by pelletisation with SemidolimeTM. By doing so, the controlled release of alkali from SemidolimeTM can neutralise the soil acidity and maximise the uptake of phosphorous, and the replenishment of magnesium in the soil.
The preferred method of application to a crop in which the seed/seedling is typically planted is with a fertiliser pellet. The magnesium oxide in the SemidolimeTM replaces the magnesium that is taken from the soil by the plant and the calcium carbonate mproves soil permeability.
