Business Approach

Calix is structured to manage a high level of anticipated growth. The company is divided into two primary divisions: Calcined Products Division; and Endex Reactor Division. Calix’s growth will in part be opportunistic as large contracts may present themselves particularly in emerging markets.

The Calcined Products Division manages sales and research into steam catalysed flash calciners for customers and sales of calcined products. Calcined products are planned to be produced at Calix’s facility in Bacchus Marsh.

Calix is currently building a commercial scale flash calciner at Bacchus Marsh to enable the Company to deliver future orders of calcined powder.

The Endex Reactor Division manages sales, bids and tenders for the construction of Endex Reactor Technology.

The day-to-day operations are the responsibility of the Managing Director and the Executive Management Team (EMT). The EMT currently comprises the Managing Director, Operations Manager, Chief Scientist, Chief Financial Controller, Company Secretary, HR Manager and the Calciner Division Manager. The Bacchus Marsh site progresses under the supervision of the Plant manager who supervises day-to-day operations and plant expansion.

The Company’s Head Office is located in Sydney, NSW where the corporate functions of management, finance, company secretarial are carried out. The Calcining business sales will initially be undertaken from the Sydney office with a view to it becoming a business division in approximately 12 months. The Endex Reactor business will also be initially undertaken from the Sydney office with the option of also creating a separate business division, as the company grows.

It is envisaged that significant expansion in business activity will occur over the next two to three years and Calix (Europe) Ltd and Calix (North America) Inc have been set up to facilitate this expansion.
